Nissan GT-R 2012 - car in the future

The 2012 Nissan GT-R is advanced the performance envelope of Nissan, and the new GT-R is way more advanced that the previous versions. The maximum power under the hood now is 530 horsepower, which is 45 hp more than previous year and maximum torque this year is 488 lbs-ft, which are 434 more from last year. The increased power and torque could be attributed to the blend of revised turbo boost and the smooth exhaust and intake systems. The brakes for the car which already were immensely impressive have also been enlarged a tad bit by means of added performance potential.

With cooling performance for the muffler is improved and rear downforce is increased by about 10% through use of a new rear fascia outlet and new vents on the lower rear fenders that help remove air from the rear wheel wells. Newly designed larger diameter tailpipe finishers are also adopted. Six exterior colors are available, including two new colors: Deep Blue Pearl and Jet Black. Other available colors are Solid Red, Gun Metallic, Pearl White and a limited production 4-stage metallic Super Silver.

The Nissan GT-R 2012 increase in economy is a feat, considering the substantial 45-hp bump to the VR38DETT V-6, due mainly to higher boost pressure made possible by better engine cooling. Peak boost rises from 10.9 psi to 13.0, and timing and fuel mixture are remapped accordingly. Mizuno says a 1-mm increase in the stroke of the thermostat allows greater coolant flow, which helps compensate for the higher cylinder temperatures. The two air-inlet pipes that feed the gorgeous intake manifold have larger diameters, and exhaust backpressure was reduced.

2009 Nissan Maxima - True automobile

The new Maxima's interior design team developed an interior concept of "Super Cockpit" – imparting the feeling of sports car with controls ergonomically close, yet with ample roominess and comfort for both driver and passengers. The interior includes a special driver's sport seat, available leather-appointed seating, offset shifter lever that is closer to the driver, "Daylight Illumination" gauges and a wide range of available technology, including a premium audio system, RearView Monitor and Nissan Hard Drive Navigation system with XM NavTraffic real-time traffic information (active XM® subscription required, sold separately), Voice Recognition and 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive.
The Maxima might look convincingly like a rear-wheel-drive car from the outside, but that illusion dissipates when you're sitting behind the wheel. The windshield slopes far away from the driver, in the manner of a classic cab-forward, front-wheel-drive sedan. More strangely, the hood sweeps up at the sides and has a bulge in the middle with a curved inset at the rear. This, combined with a deep dashboard swell that rises ahead of the driver, creates a view that's a bit like looking out over a roiling sea.
The new Maxima offers a more powerful engine, quicker acceleration response and a performance-oriented tuned exhaust note. The 2009 Maxima again features a standard award-winning 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ-series V6 engine, enhanced and refined to take driving performance to new levels. The revised engine is now rated at 290 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque (estimated), increases of 35 horsepower and 9 lb-ft of torque over the 2008 Maxima engine. All 2009 Maximas come equipped with a revised standard Xtronic CVT™ with manual mode.

Nissan GT-R 2011 - Impressional Car

The Nissan GT-R is a multi-dimensional performance machine that lives up to the concept of “the ultimate supercar that can be driven by anyone, anytime, anywhere.” It is built on an exclusive Premium Midship platform created expressly for use with the GT-R.

Most of the changes on the GT-R for 2011 affect its performance. For instance, the output of the twin-turbo V6 engine has increased to 485 horsepower from 480. Nissan also reprogrammed the supercar’s transmission control module to allow faster clutch engagements. The 2011 GT-R has also eliminated the launch control feature, which is no longer necessary because of the transmission improvements. Finally, for improved comfort and control, the suspension of the GT-R receives Bilstein shocks. Auto reviews praise the performance of the 2011 Nissan GT-R, calling it more responsive and powerful than the models of previous years.

The Nissan GT-R-specific lightweight forged 20-inch wheels, with special knurling to assist with securing the tires during hard acceleration or braking, are shod with nitrogen-filled Bridgestone high-performance summer run-flat tires specifically designed for the GT-R, sized 255/40ZRF20 front and 285/35ZRF20 rear. Optional Dunlop SP Sport 600 – 255ZRF40/20 front, P285ZRF35/20 rear performance summer tires are available with the Ultra High Performance Summer Tire Package.
